Two Days Apart

Kirsten and I were born two days apart (I’m older) in the same hospital. Our parents somehow went to the same play group and figured out we lived in the same neighborhood. We told everyone we met we were sisters, and most of them believed us. This shoot is proof that playing dress-up never gets old, especially when you’ve been doing it for 24 years. These are new characters, of course, but the bright, adolescent color palette, shouts of “help me with my make up!” across my hot apartment, and joy of telling our moms what we did together today made it feel the same as it always has.
